Secure Communications on the Move
Critical Frequency Design uses resilient Free Space Optical (FSO) communications technology to transmit large amounts of information with a low probability of intercept (LPI) and low probability of detection (LPD). Our integrated photonic beam steering solution enables rapid acquisition and tracking with a fraction of the size, weight and power (SWaP) of conventional gimballed systems and is ideally suited for mobile platforms including vehicles, dismounted soldiers and UAVs.

Control of the electromagnetic spectrum is a critical challenge in electronic warfare due to its fundamental role in modern communications, sensing and weapon systems. Electromagnetic spectrum control allows military forces to deny or disrupt enemy communications, radar and other electronic systems, degrading their ability to operate effectively.
Additionally, controlling the spectrum enables the use of electronic countermeasures to protect friendly forces from enemy attacks and surveillance. As technology advances, the spectrum becomes increasingly congested, making effective spectrum management and dominance even more crucial for military success.
